Position Summary

The National Account Manager will manage a portfolio of National Chain Restaurant accounts in a profitable and sustainable manner while exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Full accountability for managing assigned National Chain Restaurant accounts, including key relationships, contract management and profitability.
• Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms and conditions.
• Coordinate chain restaurant costing and pricing.
• Engage and align Flanagan staff and departments to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Ensuring all aspects of the business are properly prioritized and dealt with – internally (within Flanagan’s) and externally (with customers and vendors as needed).
• Address customer concerns promptly, and recommend effective solutions.
• Manage escalations and resolve issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Prepared detailed reports, and analyze data to support assigned restaurant chains.
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement in alignment with customer needs and business goals.
• Collaborate with other departments within the organization.
• Contribute to the strategic plan and company values.
• Complete and keep up to date on all Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality Assurance training pertinent to the role.
• Responsible for reporting any and all concerns related to the Health & Safety, safe handling and integrity of all items received, stored and distributed by Flanagan Foodservice.
• Adherence to all Health & Safety, Food Safety and WHMIS practices.
• Follow safe and efficient work procedures to meet customer requirements including maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Strong commitment to delivering a high level of customer service excellence.
• Previous experience in a similar position preferred.
• Completion of College Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business considered an asset.
• Ability to cultivate and maintain positive and effective relationships.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet established deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and organization skills.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Previous experience using MS Excel and analyzing data using vlookup and pivot tables.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Class G Driver's license and use of a personal vehicle for work related travel as required.
