Agile IT Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Agile IT Project Manager to serve as a point of contact and client interface for project technology-related issues. The successful candidate will manage project expectations, evaluate project needs, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure that program needs are met with respect to urgency and priority. Responsibilities:

• Serve as the point of contact and client interface for project technology-related issues
• Manage project expectations, evaluate project needs, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure that program needs are met with respect to urgency and priority
• Review all project deliverables to ensure quality and accuracy meet project, stakeholder, and contractual standards
• Execute all project management functions, including work breakdown, monitoring and tracking of technical progress against defined timetables, budgets, staff assignments, and developments
• Lead and direct the successful delivery of services while ensuring that assigned projects adhere to the approved life cycle work patterns, standards, and procedures for solution delivery
• Provide detailed direction during various stages of the lifecycle, including requirements analysis, testing, and potentially programming support
• Identify, track, manage, and communicate risks and issues with stakeholders and upper management
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and coach Agile teams
• Partner with Product Owners, technical leads, QA, business operations, shared services, and client-facing teams to align priorities, dependencies, and delivery timelines
• Provide project and team performance metrics, including status, risks, issues, dependencies, blockers, velocity, burnup/burndown, milestones, and decisions clearly to leadership and stakeholders
• Identify and resolve obstacles that may hinder the team's progress, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Provide guidance and support to team members on Agile best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
• Qualifications:*
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 5+ years of project management, Scrum Master, or Agile delivery experience
• 3+ years facilitating Scrum ceremonies for software development or IT delivery teams
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or Agile teams
• Experience in creating project plans, status reports, RAID logs, and executive-level updates
• Experience working with technical teams, business stakeholders, QA, systems analysts, and production support teams
• Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM I, SAFe Scrum Master, PMP, or PMI-ACP preferred

Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. The annual salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000
