Position Overview

The Friendship Campus is seeking a highly organized, tech-savvy, and innovative IT & Website Support Specialist with experience utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to improve organizational effectiveness.

This position will serve as the primary internal technology resource for all three organizations by supporting website management, IT coordination, software platforms, AI implementation, and day-to-day technology needs.

The ideal candidate is a systems thinker who enjoys troubleshooting technology, improving workflows, managing websites, supporting staff, and identifying new ways AI can streamline operations and increase productivity.

This is not a software developer position. Instead, the role focuses on managing technology platforms, coordinating outside vendors, supporting internal users, and helping the Friendship Campus adopt emerging technologies that improve efficiency and communication.

Key Responsibilities

Website Management & Digital Platforms

• Manage and maintain the websites for Chabad of Kendall & Pinecrest, Friendship Circle of Miami, and Mitzvah Kitchen.
• Update website content, events, forms, landing pages, blogs, and organizational information using WordPress, Wix, and similar platforms.
• Monitor website functionality, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate updates with external developers when needed.
• Manage online registration forms, donation pages, event pages, and integrations.
• Recommend improvements to website functionality, user experience, and accessibility.

Information Technology Support

• Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day technology support across the Friendship Campus.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, networking, internet connectivity, and user access issues.
• Coordinate with outsourced IT providers to resolve more complex technical issues.
• Manage Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, user accounts, shared drives, permissions, and cloud storage.
• Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up technology, equipment, and user accounts.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Process Innovation

• Research, evaluate, and implement AI tools that improve organizational productivity and efficiency.
• Train staff on the effective use of AI platforms to streamline administrative, marketing, fundraising, and operational tasks.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes using AI and workflow automation tools.
• Support leadership in evaluating emerging technologies that enhance communication, reporting, and decision-making.
• Develop best practices for the ethical and effective use of AI across the Friendship Campus.

Technology Systems & Operational Support

• Support organizational software platforms, including Salesforce, event registration systems, email marketing platforms, and productivity tools.
• Assist with system integrations and data flow between organizational platforms.
• Maintain technology documentation, user guides, and internal procedures.
• Recommend system improvements that increase efficiency and reduce manual processes.

Audio/Visual & Event Technology

• Provide technology support for meetings, trainings, community events, and campus-wide programs.
• Set up and operate audio/visual equipment, including projectors, microphones, presentation systems, livestreaming equipment, and video conferencing platforms.
• Troubleshoot AV equipment during events and presentations.
• Coordinate technology needs for fundraising events, educational programs, and community gatherings.

Vendor & Project Coordination

• Manage relationships with website developers, technology consultants, software vendors, and IT service providers.
• Obtain quotes, coordinate projects, and oversee implementation timelines.
• Translate organizational needs into clear technical requirements for external partners.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Business Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in IT support, website management, systems administration, or technology operations.
• Experience managing WordPress, Wix, or similar website platforms.
• Experience supporting Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and cloud-based collaboration tools.
• Experience implementing or utilizing Artificial Intelligence platforms such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar productivity tools.
• Experience supporting nonprofit organizations is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of website content management systems and basic website maintenance.
• Experience with AI productivity tools and workflow automation.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to support staff with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Experience with Salesforce, CRM systems, and nonprofit technology platforms is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of audio/visual systems and event technology.
• Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and leveraging technology to support mission-driven organizations.

Compensation & Schedule

• Full-time, salaried position with competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
• Standard weekday schedule with flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, and campus events requiring technology support.
• Position is based on-site at the Friendship Campus.
