Role Description The Oracle Retail Solution Architect at Valtech is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami Beach, FL. This role is responsible for designing end-to-end Oracle Retail solutions that align with client business goals, industry best practices, and Valtech’s experience innovation vision.

Day-to-day activities include leading solution architecture workshops, translating business requirements into scalable Oracle Retail architectures, and collaborating closely with product owners, business analysts, developers, and QA teams.

The architect will guide the integration of Oracle Retail modules with enterprise systems, oversee technical design documents, support implementation and configuration activities, and ensure performance, security, and reliability of solutions.

The role also involves advising clients on retail transformation strategies, supporting pre-sales and proposal efforts, and contributing to continuous improvement of Valtech’s retail solution frameworks and standards.

Qualifications

• Strong Oracle Retail expertise, including solution design, configuration, and integration across key Oracle Retail applications.
• Robust retail domain knowledge, covering merchandising, inventory, pricing, promotions, and omnichannel customer journeys.
• Enterprise architecture skills, including system integration patterns, API-led connectivity, and scalable, secure solution design.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and leading workshops with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in documenting solution architectures, technical designs, and implementation guidelines in a clear and structured manner.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, modern integration technologies, and data-driven approaches to optimize retail operations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse, international environment.
• Proven experience in end-to-end retail implementation or transformation projects, ideally within consulting or systems integration environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
