Summary
As an Account Manager, you'll be managing clients that are of strategic importance. Account Managers work to drive value that leads to expansion, renewals and customer satisfaction. You will be dedicated to finding additional opportunities within current client accounts by establishing lasting relationships with key decision makers.
The Account Manager's responsibilities include maintaining a thorough knowledge of our business and offerings, developing and implementing strategic plans to grow assigned account, achieve sales and profitability objectives by effectively managing their account, managing and strengthening client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, coordinating with internal teams and partnering with Customer Success to deliver on client/company expectations.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute account strategies in conjunction with the Regional VP
- Grow revenue within existing accounts by identifying new sales opportunities and successfully seeing them through contracting
- Gain command of our corporate message, leverage data in our platform and identify strategic growth opportunities to help clients understand and grow their business
- Exceptional Pipedrive hygiene to provide up to date and accurate ongoing forecasts
- Use CRM (Pipedrive) to log sales activity, keep allocated accounts up to date with customer contact details, ensure pipeline discipline working quickly on all customer communication, including leads

- Conduct well-informed and consultative meetings with senior level executives and decision makers to demonstrate the business value of our product that clearly articulates our innovative products
- Negotiate balanced renewals and expansions that profit our business while benefiting the client and shepherd the deal through legal negotiation and other stakeholders on behalf of Unimed.
- Identify upsell, cross sell opportunities through whitespace prioritisation, building pipeline consistently in line with growth targets.
- Maintain up-to-date understanding of competitors' activities and competitive offerings.
- Collaborate with Customer Success team to help maximize client use, value, and satisfaction of our platform
- Work with internal teams, including Customer Success, Finance, Ops and Product to ensure customers are onboarded and supported in the best viable way.
- Most of your time will be spent positioning the value of our product with stakeholders through demos, email and phone. There’s a reason we call you a trusted advisor-- this is less about the hard sell and more about having the product knowledge, passion and people skills to help the prospect make the best decision for their needs.
- Effectively manage a pipeline of inbound opportunities so that you can consistently drive revenue for the company and strong ROI for our customers.
- Become an expert in assessing the use case of the prospect and customizing your presentation based on the prospects pain points and desired customer support experience, thorough consultative discovery sessions is a must to provide tailored solutions.
- Proactively report on learnings and valuable feedback to the product team so that we can improve the product and prioritize the right projects.
- A deep knowledge on our always evolving product and understand the nuances of how it can be used so that you’re able to support prospects accordingly.
- Responsible for hitting sales metrics of success as well as providing timely and accurate forecasts and clear visibility into revenue performance.
