Your Role

• Lead comprehensive UX design efforts, which encompass user research, blueprinting, and evaluation of existing systems.
• Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of multiple web sites and applications across various clients in a dynamic environment.
• Conduct user research and analysis to inform the design of user-friendly web pages, application interfaces, and other innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with federal practice engineers and clients to develop beautiful, intuitive solutions tailored for federal stakeholders.
• Create effective wireframes, storyboards, and site maps to communicate design concepts for websites and applications.
• Develop scalable design resources to enhance project collaboration and expand ECS creative services.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Eligibility to obtain a Public Trust.
• A proven background in UX design.
• 10+ years of combined professional design experience in user-centered design and UI/UX.
• A strong online portfolio demonstrating research-driven design for web and mobile applications.
• A detail-oriented problem solver committed to high quality and excellence.
• Expertise in user research methodologies and user interface design standards.
• An advanced understanding of user personas, user flows, affinity mapping, and other research tools.
• Strong knowledge of the web development life cycle from discovery to user evaluation.
• Experience identifying UX challenges and proposing solutions for existing systems.
• Proficiency designing compliant web and mobile applications aligned with 508 and USWDS standards.
• Ability to prioritize features while balancing user needs and business objectives.
• Experience taking designs from concept through to final high-fidelity mockups.
• Ability to establish rapid feedback loops with customers to guide design decisions.
• A self-starter with the confidence to work independently and collaboratively.
• Success with both new projects and redesigns of established platforms.
• Experience mentoring and guiding junior designers.
• Advanced coding knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in Adobe XD, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach.
• Experience using Agile methodology for project management.
• Skills in creating and modifying data visualizations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
