Duties

• Oversee food safety sanitizing procedures, ensuring all kitchen areas adhere to strict hygiene standards and food handling regulations.
• Assist in menu planning and contribute innovative ideas to enhance our culinary offerings, catering to diverse dietary needs and preferences.
• Manage inventory control and monitor stock levels to minimize waste while ensuring the availability of ingredients for daily operations.
• Lead and supervise kitchen staff, fostering teamwork, providing training on food preparation techniques, and maintaining high morale among team members.
• Support the dietary department by understanding special dietary requirements and ensuring proper food handling and preparation for all guests.

Skills

• Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining, catering, and restaurant management.
• Proven supervising experience with the ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, inventory management, and cost control practices.
• Skilled in food production, menu planning, and food service management with a focus on quality and presentation.
• Experience with banquet service, catering events, and managing large-scale food operations.
• Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills; capable of managing shifts and overseeing kitchen staff efficiently.
• Familiarity with hospitality standards, food industry regulations, and bartending is a plus to enhance guest service experience.
