Lead Bartender / Taproom Lead

We are looking for an experienced Lead Bartender with a deep passion for craft beer, outstanding guest service, and natural leadership skills. In this role, you will lead floor operations during shifts, set the standard for hospitality, and work hand-in-hand with management to keep the taproom running smoothly.

• Thursday: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Friday: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Sunday: Availability required

Responsibilities

Leadership & Guest Experience

• Lead by example on the floor, fostering a welcoming environment and nurturing an excellent guest experience.
• Support, mentor, and guide taproom staff during shifts to maintain high service standards.
• Build regulars, foster genuine community relationships, and drive taproom sales.
• Coordinate and execute special events, bottle/can releases, and peak shifts.
• Promote a healthy, positive, and collaborative work environment.

Bar & Taproom Operations

• Interact with guests, take orders, serve drinks, and make expert style recommendations.
• Assist with inventory tracking, draft line upkeep, and restocking taproom supplies.
• Oversee shift setup and breakdown, ensuring all opening/closing checklists are fully completed.
• Maintain a pristine, organized, and presentable bar and seating area at all times.
• Manage taproom atmosphere, including music, TVs, and lighting.

Beer Knowledge & Sales

• Remain an expert on our current draft list, package offerings, and beer styles; guide guest tastings and pairings.
• Drive upselling/cross-selling and help the team hit monthly sales goals.
• Ensure full compliance with all food, beverage, and safety regulations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of bartending or lead server experience in a high-volume craft brewery, taproom, or craft cocktail bar.
• Deep knowledge of craft beer styles, draft systems, and service. (Certified Beer Server or Cicerone certification is a big plus).
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail regarding cleanliness, organization, and draft quality.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Must be available Sundays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $50.00 per hour
