26 Summer Children's Instructor (K-5) -Hiring Now

Touching Miami with Love (TML), a nonprofit faith-based organization looking to hire a part-time individual with experience leading programs for children in grades K-5th.

The Teacher’s primary role is to cultivate the lives of the young people by nurturing them through loving relationships, challenging them through learning and creative activities, and developing their social-emotional skills.

During summer 5 days a week /hours : 9 AM-5 PM

• Provide the instruction for the program's participants through homework assistance, STEM, enrichment activities, fitness, social-emotional learning, life-skills, and literacy.
• Assist with all aspects of programs, including curriculum implementation, field trips, and volunteers and interns.
• Lead all aspects of programs, including curriculum implementation, field trips, and volunteers and interns.
• Develop relationships with youth, families, community members and our staff team.
• Instill the importance of education amongst our children.
• Maintain classroom structure and provide a positive class environment.
• Lead class group.
• Review classroom strategies to promote student learning, best practices; understanding, and identify challenges.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
