Eaton Academic is seeking a dependable, patient, and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to support students and lead teachers at our Kendall location. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, takes initiative, and can help maintain a positive, organized, and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the lead teacher with classroom instruction and daily activities

Provide individual and small-group support to students

Help students stay focused, organized, and engaged

Prepare classroom materials and learning activities

Assist with classroom setup, cleanup, and organization

Supervise students during transitions, breaks, and activities

Support hands-on projects, enrichment activities, and special events

Communicate professionally with teachers, staff, students, and families

Follow all Eaton Academic policies and safety procedures

Qualifications

Previous experience working with children is preferred

Teaching, tutoring, childcare, camp, or classroom experience is a plus

Patient, reliable, organized, and able to take direction

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Must have reliable transportation

Must be punctual and consistently available for the agreed-upon schedule

Must be able to provide professional references

Must be able to pass a background check

This is a part-time, in-person position in Kendall, Florida. Compensation will be discussed based on experience and availability.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
