Environment, Health and Safety Manager

A leading construction and industrial organization is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager to lead and oversee all environmental, health, and safety initiatives across construction operations and project sites.

The EH&S Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and company safety standards while driving a strong culture of workplace safety and environmental responsibility.

This individual will develop and implement comprehensive safety programs, conduct risk assessments, oversee environmental compliance efforts, deliver training programs, investigate incidents, and partner with leadership to continuously improve organizational safety performance.

The ideal candidate possesses extensive construction safety experience, strong regulatory knowledge, leadership capabilities, and a passion for building safe and sustainable work environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage safety and environmental programs.
• Ensure OSHA and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Lead safety training and employee education programs.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records and compliance documentation.
• Manage emergency response and preparedness programs.
• Oversee hazardous material handling and waste management.
• Promote sustainability and environmental best practices.
• Work with project teams, contractors, and leadership to improve safety performance.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of EH&S experience.
• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, or related field.
• OSHA 500, CHST, ASP, or GSP certification required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Ability to lead safety training and influence safety culture.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and respond to emergencies when needed.

Compensation

$80,000 to $100,000 per year annual salary.
