Role Purpose

The Senior Marketing Director will be responsible for leading Kushki's regional marketing strategy across Latin America, driving brand positioning, demand generation, and business growth through innovative, data-driven, and AI-powered marketing strategies.

The mission of this role is to position Kushki as a leading player in the digital payments ecosystem by strengthening the company's value proposition and developing marketing initiatives that leverage Generative AI, automation, and advanced analytics to optimize customer experiences, personalize interactions, accelerate decision-making, and maximize campaign performance.

This leader will also drive the transformation of the Marketing organization toward an AI-First operating model, promoting the responsible adoption of emerging technologies, fostering a culture of continuous innovation, and building capabilities that increase productivity, operational efficiency, and business value.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Strategy

• Define and lead Kushki's regional marketing strategy for Latin America, aligned with business objectives and growth priorities.
• Integrate Artificial Intelligence, advanced analytics, and automation capabilities to strengthen decision-making and maximize the impact of marketing initiatives.
• Ensure strong alignment across Marketing, Product, Sales, and other strategic business areas to accelerate growth.

Brand Positioning

• Strengthen Kushki's positioning as a leading innovator in digital payment solutions across Latin America.
• Ensure consistency of the company's value proposition, brand identity, and messaging across all markets and channels.
• Lead AI-powered communication and content strategies to enhance brand relevance and personalization.

Demand Generation & Customer Experience

• Design and execute demand generation strategies targeting merchants, fintechs, and strategic partners.
• Leverage Artificial Intelligence to optimize audience segmentation, personalization, campaign automation, and overall marketing performance.
• Partner closely with Sales teams to strengthen lead generation, qualification, and conversion.

Innovation, Transformation & Analytics

• Lead the implementation of Generative AI technologies, marketing automation, and advanced marketing tools to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
• Foster a culture of experimentation, continuous learning, and data-driven innovation.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to brand positioning, demand generation, campaign effectiveness, productivity, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Return on Investment (ROI), AI adoption, and overall business impact.

Regional Leadership

• Lead and develop high-performing regional Marketing teams, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented culture.
• Build organizational capabilities in AI-powered marketing through continuous learning and the adoption of emerging technologies and methodologies.
• Serve as a strategic leader in transforming the Marketing organization into a data-driven, automation-enabled, AI-first function.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, Communications, Economics, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred (MBA, Marketing, Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Innovation, or related disciplines).

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience leading Marketing organizations, preferably within fintech, technology, financial services, payments, SaaS, or digital industries.
• Proven experience leading regional marketing strategies and brand positioning initiatives across Latin America.
• Strong background in demand generation, digital marketing, branding, communications, and business growth.
• Experience implementing marketing automation, advanced analytics, and AI-powered marketing solutions.
• Demonstrated success leading high-performing, cross-functional, and regional teams.
• Experience in digital payments, acquiring, e-commerce, or financial services is highly desirable.
