Role: Data Architect / Microsoft Fabric Architect / Implementation Lead

Location: Miami, FL - 5 days onsite

Type: 6‑Month Contract‑to‑Hire

Role Overview

We are seeking a senior‑level Microsoft Fabric Architect / Implementation Lead to drive the design and implementation of an enterprise data platform strategy. This is a consultative, architecture‑focused role—not an ETL developer position.

The ideal candidate will provide architectural vision, align business logic with technical solutions, and structure data environments to enable future AI and advanced analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end implementation of Microsoft Fabric, from tenant setup through production rollout and expansion.
• Define and execute enterprise data platform architecture strategies.
• Design integration approaches between Fabric and source systems (JD Edwards, Azure SQL, operational systems, third‑party data sources).
• Provide consultative guidance to stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
• Develop scalable data environments that support AI enablement and analytics modernization.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data platform, data engineering, or analytics architecture roles.
• Minimum 3 years in a lead or architect capacity.
• Deep, hands‑on expertise with the Microsoft data stack, including:
• Microsoft Fabric / Azure Synapse Analytics
• Power BI
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure SQL
• Azure Data Lake Storage
• Proven experience leading enterprise data platform implementations or major expansions.
• Strong stakeholder‑facing communication and consultative skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience modernizing data platforms for AI enablement.
• Background in data warehousing and lakehouse architecture.
• Ability to translate business logic into scalable technical solutions.
