Earthwork Foreman (Miami Dade/Broward)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects within the Dade/Broward area. Duties

• Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, from planning through completion, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project execution.
• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software, tracking progress and adjusting plans as needed.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation on-site.
• Conduct site inspections regularly to monitor quality control, safety compliance (OSHA standards), and progress; address issues promptly.
• Prepare and manage contracts, change orders, and project documentation; oversee budgeting and cost control efforts.
• Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Ohmmeter for project coordination, estimating, measurement verification, and quality assurance.
• Supervise construction site teams; provide guidance on construction management best practices and ensure team safety through adherence to OSHA regulations.
• Oversee project scheduling efforts including critical path analysis; manage resource allocation for optimal productivity.
• Ensure all work aligns with client specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements; maintain open communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction management with a strong understanding of heavy civil or infrastructure projects in the Dade/Broward region.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience leading construction teams on-site; ability to motivate and coordinate diverse groups effectively.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 or Primavera software for project scheduling; experience with construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam is highly desirable.
• Solid knowledge of contracts, budgeting processes, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment on construction sites.
• Hands-on experience with construction site activities including use of tools like Ohmmeter for electrical testing; ability to read technical drawings accurately.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing project documentation and reports.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams effectively.
