Junior Mortgage Loan Processor/Account Manager

Position Overview

The Junior Mortgage Loan Processor/Account Manager at Velocity Commercial Capital is responsible for acting as a liaison between Account Managers, Brokers, and external vendors such as Title, Escrow, and Insurance companies.

This full-time position requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as the individual will handle loan processing tasks and ensure excellent customer service is provided to all partners involved in the loan process.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison for the Account Managers and Brokers.
• Work directly with Account Managers on conditions, documents, and questions.
• Multitask effectively while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Proactively solve issues and provide solutions.
• Ensure excellent customer service is provided to internal and external partners.
• Verify Loan Application and CLA Package for accuracy.
• Open loans, pull credit, and order appraisals in a timely manner.
• Collect and prepare all necessary documentation for the loan package.
• Organize, index, and evaluate received documentation.
• Prepare and maintain all paperwork for existing and new loans.
• Obtain an accurate Closing Confirmation signed and dated by Broker.
• Confirm documents are labeled correctly and in the correct placeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Mortgage industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of loan operating systems is a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in loan processing (1 year required).
