Senior UI/UX Ecommerce Web Designer (Shopify & CRO Focus)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Ecommerce Web Designer to join the Absolute Web team. This role goes beyond pure design. The ideal candidate understands ecommerce deeply, thinks in terms of conversion optimization, and is comfortable collaborating directly with clients and prospects.

You will work closely with our strategy, CRO, and development teams to design high-performing ecommerce experiences for leading brands. This role also includes client presentations, idea pitching, and collaborating with our sales team during the discovery and proposal process.

Key Responsibilities

• Design high-converting ecommerce experiences for Shopify and Shopify Plus brands
• Create wireframes, UX flows, and high-fidelity UI designs for ecommerce websites and landing pages
• Present design concepts, UX thinking, and CRO strategies directly to clients and prospects
• Collaborate with our sales and strategy teams during discovery calls and project planning
• Translate brand strategy and business goals into user-centered ecommerce experiences
• Work closely with developers to ensure design quality during implementation
• Apply CRO best practices to improve conversion, engagement, and revenue
• Continuously analyze ecommerce UX patterns, industry trends, and performance data

Requirements

• 5 years of UI/UX design experience, preferably in ecommerce
• Strong portfolio of ecommerce websites and conversion-focused experiences
• Deep understanding of Shopify / Shopify Plus UX patterns
• Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI systems
• Comfortable presenting designs, ideas, and UX rationale to clients
• Experience collaborating with sales teams or participating in project discovery
• Strong understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Ability to clearly explain design thinking to both technical and non-technical audiences
