ASAP Marketing Solutions
ASAP Marketing is a fast-growing company looking to add experienced talent to the team. Our goal is to meet the marketing demands of businesses with local, national, and global reach. We offer clients a variety of services, such as email marketing, graphic design, PPC advertising, content creation, and website development. However, these services cannot be completed by just anyone.
That is why we are looking to hire hard-working, creative, energetic, and knowledgeable team members.
We are currently searching for a content writer. Within this role, you’ll assist in the creation of optimized websites, engaging social media posts, effective email marketing campaigns, and more. As a content writer, you will have the following responsibilities:
Research client industries through reputable sources, studies, and online articles
Write clear and concise copy for websites, blogs, emails, social media, and many other mediums
Review and edit existing content for spelling, grammar, tone, and accuracy
Collaborate with web designers to develop aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly websites
Work alongside SEO specialists to develop engaging and SEO-friendly content
Interview and speak to clients about their business and industry
Design marketing materials such as videos, posters, emails, business cards, social media banners, and more
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or another related field
1 - 3 years of experience in content writing or a related position
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Excellent understanding of spelling and grammar rules
Basic understanding of SEO guidelines
Capable of following a style guide to ensure consistency
Capable of communicating clearly through written and oral forms
Work well in a creative, collaborative team and independently
Able to meet strict deadlines set by clients and other team members
Portfolio showcasing related work
Bonus points if you check off any of the following:
Experience with video editing, graphic design, and other visual elements
Experience with WordPress or another CMS
Understanding of social media best practices for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and more
Basic knowledge of HTML and/or CSS
Experience with Asana, HubSpot, Cloudways, SocialPilot, or LocalViking
Centrally located in Houston at The Galleria
