Accounts Receivable & Billing Manager

US Med-Equip is looking for an experienced Billing & Revenue Cycle Manager to lead our Billing & Revenue Cycle operations. In this role, you'll oversee billing, collections, accounts receivable, customer credit management, and revenue cycle performance while driving process improvements and operational excellence.

Reporting to the Controller, you'll lead the Billing & Collections team and collaborate with cross-functional departments including Sales, Pricing, Contract Administration, Customer Experience, Operations, Finance, and IT to ensure accurate billing, maximize cash collections, and improve overall revenue cycle performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Billing & Revenue Cycle team.
• Oversee billing operations for rentals, services, and equipment sales.
• Improve billing accuracy, collections, cash flow, and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
• Monitor KPIs including billing accuracy, collections, aging reports, dispute resolution, and customer service metrics.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Manage customer credit activities, credit limits, reconciliations, write-offs, refunds, and billing adjustments.
• Partner with IT on billing system enhancements, automation, and ERP improvements.
• Work closely with Sales, Pricing, Operations, and Finance to resolve billing issues and ensure contract compliance.
• Support month-end close, revenue recognition, financial reporting, and audits.
• Build executive dashboards and provide performance insights to leadership.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in Billing, Accounts Receivable, Collections, or Revenue Cycle Management.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams.
• Strong knowledge of billing operations, collections, customer credit, and accounts receivable.
• Experience improving DSO, billing accuracy, cash collections, and operational efficiency.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership abilities.

Preferred

• Experience with Acumatica, GoTransverse, or similar ERP/billing systems.
• Experience leading ERP implementations or billing system upgrades.
• Healthcare, medical equipment rental, recurring billing, or multi-location service industry experience.
