Senior Graphic Designer

This position is hybrid for employees residing in the Greater Houston area. Remote employment is available for candidates residing in Texas (outside the Greater Houston area), Colorado, Florida, Oregon, Tennessee, or the District of Columbia.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on expert in visual design and will work closely with a team of designers, art directors, marketing, copywriters, developers and others to elevate client brands and marketing programs. Responsible for bringing design solutions to life which adhere to marketing strategies and business goals.

Creative problem-solving skills, pixel perfect precision, an appreciation for creative strategy and mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite are a must.

Responsibilities

• Use your strong eye for aesthetics and visual details to ensure a quality final product
• Learn and understand each client’s business, market and target audiences
• Create a variety of brand driven channel executions for our clients
• Collaborate on marketing campaign development
• Execute development of sales and marketing assets aligned with client objectives
• Collaborate, support and mentor other designers, providing feedback and guidance on design execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and experience in design, visual, interactive, or UX design
• 10+ years of professional design experience, agency environment a plus
• A portfolio of work that can be accessed online
• Demonstrated knowledge of industry standard design processes, methods and tools
• An understanding of the methodology and standards of web design
• Knowledge of interface and user experience design best practices for all screen sizes and devices
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, team-based environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of design and technology trends
• Excellent creative, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
• Communication skills and an ability to drill down to a customer's requirements
• Ability to work within a cross-functional team and handle multiple projects with tight deadlines
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Knowledge of industry standard design tools
• Strong understanding of motion graphics is a plus
• Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in brand development, typography, color theory, page layout and iconography
• Maintain high standards of quality
• Collaborating across the organization to drive up standards of digital creativity
