Role Description This full-time, on-site Professional Driver role is based in Houston, TX. The Professional Driver will operate company trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently, following all federal, state, and local regulations. Day-to-day tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate logs and delivery documentation, and adhering to route plans and schedules.

The driver will communicate with dispatch, customers, and team members, provide courteous service at pick-up and delivery locations, and report any issues with equipment or delivery timelines. The role also involves following company safety policies, caring for assigned vehicles, and supporting a culture of reliability and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Truck Driving with experience operating commercial trucks safely and efficiently.
• Valid CDL Class A license and a clean driving record, meeting all regulatory and company requirements.
• Strong Communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, team members, and customers.
• Customer Service skills to provide professional, respectful interaction at pick-up and delivery locations.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections and basic truck care to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and safety best practices.
• Reliability in adhering to schedules, completing documentation accurately, and following operating procedures.
• Ability to lift, secure, and handle freight as required; willingness to work varying routes and schedules.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in logistics or freight transportation is beneficial.
