Duties

• Prepare and cook sautéed breakfast items such as eggs, vegetables, and meats following established recipes and presentation standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including skillets, burners, and food prep tools.
• Ensure all food handling and food safety sanitizing procedures are strictly followed to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Assist with menu planning for breakfast service, incorporating dietary needs and special requests when necessary.
• Support high-volume food production during busy breakfast hours while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, including proper food storage, sanitation practices, and equipment upkeep.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely meal preparation and excellent service delivery.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation, especially in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings, is highly preferred.
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in cooking techniques such as braising, poaching, grilling, and food production.
• Knowledge of dietary department procedures and food safety management practices.
• Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and catering or meal preparation is a plus.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures.
• Excellent food handling skills combined with a keen eye for detail in food presentation.
• A background in the food industry with culinary experience that demonstrates versatility in cooking styles.
