Highly Motivated Experienced Cook

Grooves Of Houston is looking for an eager and detail oriented Cook to prepare food and set up stations for further food preparation. The ideal candidate is reliable and able to follow detailed directions.

We are located on 2300 Pierce Street in Houston, TX.

We are a restaurant, nightlife and private event venue located outside of Downtown Houston. We are seeking line cooks with weekend availability.

Additional shifts may become from week to week as special and private events are scheduled.

Responsibilities include

• Setup and breakdown workstations
• Cook dishes to business standards
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Prepare ingredients for use during shift
• Thorough cleaning during and at the end of shift

Qualifications include

• Proven working experience as a Cook
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Food Handlers Certificate required
