F&B Pool Supervisor

Summary

The Pool Supervisor is responsible for the overall management and safety of the pool area food and beverage operations. This leadership role ensures a positive and secure experience for all members and guests by overseeing food and beverage operations and staff, enforcing safety rules, and maintaining a clean and well-organized environment.

The Pool Supervisor is the primary point of contact for all pool-related matters and plays a key role in upholding the club's high standards of service and safety, all aimed at fostering connections and ensuring our team thrives together in a spirit of collaboration and shared purpose.

Responsibilities

• Member and Guest Relations & Communications
• Deliver service with care and attention, always prioritizing quality and the well-being of the Members.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for members and guests, addressing questions, concerns, or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Promote a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, encouraging a positive experience for all pool patrons.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless operations and a consistent level of service
• Leadership & Staff Management
• Supervise, train, and mentor all pool staff ensuring they are proficient in their roles and adhere to all club policies.
• Create and manage daily staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency, especially during peak hours.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and in-service training sessions to review safety protocols, emergency procedures, and customer service standards.
• Conduct and provide constructive feedback to staff, addressing any disciplinary issues as needed.
• Safety & Operations
• Enforce all pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and maintain a safe environment.
• Respond to all emergencies, administering first aid, CPR, or rescue techniques as necessary, and completing all required incident reports.
• Oversee the daily opening and closing procedures of the pool facility, ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and secure.
• Coordinate with the maintenance department on any necessary repairs or maintenance of the pool facility and surrounding areas.
• Adhere to all club policies and procedures.
• Any other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, excellent communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills that foster a friendly and collaborative atmosphere.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
• Current CPR or First Aid Certifications a plus.
• A commitment to providing exceptional service that makes a difference to our Membership.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.

Working Conditions

• You will be working in variable temperature conditions (extreme heat or cold).
• You may encounter pool chemicals.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• You may experience variable noise levels.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, stooping, bending and twisting for extended periods.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying and pushing up to 50 lbs.
