Professional Land Surveyor

Under the guidance of a Senior Surveyor, the Professional Surveyor performs professional surveying and mapping duties supporting a variety of survey projects, with an emphasis on Oil & Gas developments.

This position is responsible for researching records, processing field data, and preparing detailed plats, legal descriptions, reports, easements, permitting documentation, and other survey deliverables for both internal teams and clients.

The ideal candidate has experience with boundary and right-of-way surveys, permitting processes, and Oil & Gas projects, while ensuring all work is completed accurately and in compliance with applicable surveying standards and regulations. The Professional Surveyor will be a champion and leader of our company’s core values, while maintaining internal and external customer engagement and satisfaction.

Some responsibilities include

• Manage and oversee survey projects supporting Oil and Gas clients.
• Research deeds, plats, easements, rights-of-way, title documents, and other legal records.
• Prepare and certify plats, maps, legal descriptions, and survey deliverables.
• Support permitting efforts and coordinate with clients, project teams, and regulatory agencies as needed.
• Process and review survey data using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related surveying software.
• Perform quality control reviews, ensuring compliance with state surveying regulations and professional standards.

Job Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field – preferred
• RPLS license in TX
• Prior experience supporting Oil and Gas surveying projects
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
