This organization serves millions of residential and commercial customers nationwide while advancing cutting-edge solutions in renewable energy, electric vehicle ecosystems, and carbon capture technology.

In this role, you'll act as a trusted advisor to business clients, delivering tailored energy solutions and exceptional service in a fast-paced, evolving market.

Responsibilities

Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial business customers or develop a new book of business.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing all energy-related needs and inquiries.
Meet or exceed sales, retention, volume, and margin targets.
Conduct on-site visits with clients to review billing, usage, demand, and cost drivers.
Utilize customer management systems to provide real-time updates, solutions, and account changes.
Communicate new products, programs, and services to existing and prospective customers.
Document all customer interactions, including meetings, calls, and correspondence, in CRM systems.
Support onboarding of new high-value customers by coordinating account setup and transition activities.
Perform energy audits to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
Research client businesses to better understand operational needs and energy usage patterns.
Provide insights and feedback to marketing teams based on customer interactions and trends.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of customer service experience required.
Experience in business-to-business sales and account management required.
Proficiency with CRM systems and customer data management tools.
Knowledge of electricity markets, including kW vs. kWh and billing components.
Familiarity with TDSP charges and energy product structures.
Valid Texas driver’s license with reliable transportation and acceptable driving record.
Ability to complete and apply company-provided training programs.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, appointments, and client portfolios effectively.
Experience conducting data analysis related to customer usage and billing preferred.
