Customer and Logistics Officer US and Central America

Future Manager World USA is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics & Operations Coordinator on behalf of our global client to support and coordinate their logistics operations across the United States and Central America.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone who excels in international logistics, supply chain coordination, and customer service. The Logistics & Operations Coordinator will oversee customer orders, manage transportation and logistics activities with local suppliers, coordinate operations for the Group's international subsidiaries, and ensure the smooth execution of import, export, and invoicing processes.

Our client is a global provider of gas logistics, cryogenic equipment leasing, and specialized transport solutions. Headquartered in France, the company operates across Europe, Asia, and North America, delivering customized logistics solutions to industrial clients worldwide.

As a key member of the North American operations team based in Houston, the Logistics & Operations Coordinator will work closely with both U.S. and international colleagues to ensure operational excellence, optimize logistics performance, and contribute to the continued growth of the company's business throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Operations Director, you will be responsible for the following:

• Managing customer orders across the United States and Central America, maintaining close communication with clients.
• Coordinating and planning logistics operations in collaboration with local suppliers.
• Organizing U.S.-based operations on behalf of the Group's other subsidiaries.
• Preparing and managing export, import, and invoicing documentation.
• Monitoring costs, profit margins, and payments for each operation.

Performance Indicators

Performance will be evaluated based on the successful execution of the above responsibilities and operational objectives.

• Logistics & Customer Service Officers across the Group's subsidiaries
• Sales Department
• Maintenance Department
• Accounting Department

• Gas suppliers
• Freight forwarders
• Maintenance service providers
• Transportation companies
• Storage depots

Conditions

• Permanent full-time position
• This is an on-site position based in Houston, Texas. Only candidates currently located in Texas will be considered. Please note that our client is unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.
• Willing to travel: One annual business trip to France, Occasional visits to customers and suppliers in the US and Latin America
• Approximately one-month onboarding and training period between France and Belgium

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Solid knowledge of international transportation and U.S. domestic logistics especially maritime

Languages

• Bilingual English and Spanish.

• Ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar logistics or transportation role in the United States especially in maritime.

Education

• University degree in International Transportation & Logistics or a related field.

Salary

• 60k-70k
