Senior Project Manager - Glass & Glazing

Advanced Glass Solutions is a growing commercial glass and glazing contractor serving projects throughout Texas. We manage our work in-house—from design coordination and material procurement through fabrication and field installation—giving our team greater control over quality, cost, and scheduling.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager who can take full ownership of large commercial glazing projects from contract award through final completion. This is a leadership-level position for someone who understands the glazing industry, communicates well with general contractors and field teams, and knows how to protect both the project schedule and company profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial glazing projects from award through closeout
• Review contracts, plans, specifications, estimates, inclusions, and exclusions
• Develop project schedules, procurement plans, submittal logs, and material release dates
• Coordinate shop drawings, engineering, submittals, samples, and approvals
• Procure aluminum, glass, entrances, hardware, and related glazing materials
• Maintain project budgets, cost reports, labor projections, and profitability
• Identify scope changes and prepare timely, well-supported change-order requests
• Manage RFIs, ASIs, proposal requests, field directives, and subcontract documents
• Coordinate closely with general contractors, architects, vendors, superintendents, and internal departments
• Lead project handoff, preconstruction, scheduling, and progress meetings
• Monitor fabrication and field installation to ensure work meets quality and schedule requirements
• Review monthly billing, pay applications, stored materials, and project forecasts
• Resolve field conflicts quickly while protecting Advanced Glass Solutions’ contractual position
• Manage punch-list completion, closeout documents, warranties, and final payment
• Mentor and support project managers and assistant project managers as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial glass and glazing project management experience
• Strong knowledge of storefront, curtain wall, window wall, entrances, aluminum windows, interior glass, mirrors, and specialty glazing systems
• Proven experience managing large and complex commercial projects
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, contracts, and glazing details
• Strong understanding of glazing-system fabrication, procurement, installation, and sequencing
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, cost forecasting, and project closeout
• Proficiency with PartnerPak Studio, Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams
• Strong leadership, organization, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities without losing attention to detail
• Professional and confident when communicating with general contractors, architects, vendors, and field personnel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing commercial glazing projects valued at $1 million or more
• Familiarity with Kawneer and other major architectural aluminum systems
• Established relationships with glass, aluminum, entrance, and hardware suppliers
• Experience mentoring project-management staff
• Knowledge of Texas commercial construction practices and markets
