Information Technology Support Technician

Our client is seeking an IT Support Technician II to provide hands-on technical support for approximately 300 end users in a primarily Microsoft-based environment. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, managing user accounts, and supporting endpoint devices.

The ideal candidate has strong Microsoft technologies experience and enjoys working directly with end users to resolve technical issues quickly and professionally.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an IT Support, Help Desk, or Desktop Support environment.
• Strong experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Office 365), Active Directory, and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience supporting Windows desktops and laptops; Mac support experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of workstation imaging, hardware troubleshooting, and peripheral device support.
• Experience creating and managing user accounts, permissions, and security access.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to support users of varying technical abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I/II hardware and software support for approximately 300 end users in a Microsoft environment.
• Install, configure, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications, user accounts, and productivity tools.
• Administer Active Directory user accounts, permissions, group memberships, and security access.
• Assist with Azure administration and cloud-based user management.
• Install and configure software while providing end-user training and guidance on new and existing applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, software, printer, and connectivity issues both remotely and onsite.
• Perform workstation deployments, upgrades, repairs, and equipment replacements as needed.
• Conduct routine diagnostics and research to identify and resolve technical issues, escalating when appropriate.
