The Opportunity

We’re looking for a strategic minded Sales Account Executive to join our sales team and own the full sales funnel, from sourcing and qualifying leads to closing new clients. Your primary responsibilities will involve identifying new business opportunities through innovative outreach, and establishing meaningful connections with decision-makers.

This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role ideal for someone who knows how to hustle, loves the thrill of the close, and wants to help shape the next generation of sports, fitness, and wellness brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Qualification: Assess and qualify inbound leads, ensuring they align with OPTYO's offerings to maximize conversion potential.
• Innovative Outreach: Employ creative outreach techniques to discover and introduce new business opportunities, expanding our market presence.
• Quota Achievement: Drive your success by achieving quarterly sales quotas through dedication, proactive growth, and a willingness to implement feedback.
• CRM Management: Accurately document all interactions and progress within OPTYO’s CRM system, ensuring a transparent and organized sales process.
• Tailored Research: Conduct in-depth research on potential leads to customized outreach efforts based on their unique needs and challenges.
• Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of OPTYO’s products and services, as well as the competitive landscape to effectively position our solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the business development team to identify target accounts and implement account-based marketing strategies.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads, consistently meeting or exceeding outbound activity and lead generation targets.
• Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with marketing and C-suite teams to align messaging and strategic goals across the organization.
• Feedback Loop: Provide valuable insights to the marketing team to refine messaging and targeting strategies based on client interactions.
• Professional Representation: Uphold a high level of professionalism, embodying the OPTYO brand in all interactions.

Requirements

• A BA/BS in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in business development or sales.
• Proficiency in CRM software and outreach tools to effectively manage leads and track performance.
• Skilled in consultative, value-based selling techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and a persistent, goal-oriented mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging a diverse audience.
• Knowledge of business development, digital marketing strategies, and brand expansion principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively and foster a positive team culture.
• Familiarity with the sports and fitness industry and/or eCommerce brands is preferred.
