Investment Operations Analyst

Location: San Diego, CA (4 days/week onsite)

Compensation

$85,000-$120,000 base

A leading global private markets investment platform is seeking an Investment Operations Analyst to join its growing investment operations team. This role sits in the middle of the investment lifecycle, supporting transaction execution across venture capital and private markets investments while partnering with investment, legal, tax, treasury, and accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution and settlement of private market investment transactions
• Coordinate transaction funding activities, capital calls, and investment allocations
• Track transactions from initiation through closing while ensuring internal deadlines are met
• Partner with Investment, Legal, Tax, Treasury, and Finance teams throughout the deal process
• Monitor investment activity through reporting dashboards and operational tools
• Assist with operational aspects of co-investments, secondaries, and venture capital transactions
• Manage transaction documentation and stakeholder communications
• Participate in process improvement initiatives across investment operations
• **Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
• 1–4 years of experience in investment operations, fund accounting, fund administration, middle office, audit, transaction advisory, or financial services
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
• Experience in private markets, venture capital, private equity, fund-of-funds, or alternative investments is a plus
