Position Description: The On-Site Property Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of this 19-unit, new build apartment community. This position is responsible for ensuring tenant satisfaction, maintaining property standards, and managing administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a thorough understanding of property management practices, including compliance with Fair Housing regulations and LIHTC guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the property, ensuring a high level of tenant satisfaction.
• Conduct regular property inspections to maintain standards and address any maintenance issues promptly.
• Oversee leasing activities, including showing units, processing applications, and conducting background checks.
• Maintain accurate records and files related to tenant leases, maintenance requests, and financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and LIHTC requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospective tenants.
• Implement sales strategies to promote occupancy rates and engage in upselling additional services or amenities.
• Utilize property management software such as AppFolio for data entry and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with vendors to coordinate repairs and upkeep of the property.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of facilities management.
• Proficiency in property management software, particularly AppFolio.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to address tenant concerns effectively.
• Familiarity with LIHTC regulations and Section 8 housing programs is preferred.
• Sales experience with a focus on leasing.
• Strong organizational skills for effective data entry and file management.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
