Role Description The Elementary School Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Carlsbad, CA. This educator designs and delivers engaging lessons aligned with school standards, integrating outdoor education, art, and music where appropriate.

Daily responsibilities include planning curriculum, teaching core subjects, assessing student progress, providing individualized support, and maintaining clear communication with families and colleagues. The teacher creates a safe, inclusive classroom environment, manages classroom routines, and collaborates with staff to support each student’s learning plan and social-emotional development.

Qualifications

• Ability to develop and implement age-appropriate Curriculum Development and Elementary Education plans.
• Demonstrated Teaching skills, including classroom management and differentiated instruction.
• Strong Communication skills with students, families, and colleagues.
• Background in Education or a related field, with understanding of child development and learning theories.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related discipline; valid teaching credential or license preferred.
• Experience working with elementary-aged learners in school or similar settings.
• Commitment to inclusive, student-centered, and culturally responsive teaching practices.
• Ability to integrate outdoor learning, creative arts, and project-based activities into daily instruction.

• $52,000–$61,000 annually, depending on education, experience, and demonstrated ability.
