Minimum Qualifications

Ability to competently maintain & repair residential HVAC systems

Must be 21 years of age or older

Excellent customer service skills

Interest in being part of a productive team

Acceptable driving record and valid license

Adequate personal tools

Drivers License, Good Driving Record

Fluent in speaking English

Preferred Qualifications

06A or 06B Electrical License

3 or more years of experience in residential HVAC service

Nate certification for gas furnace and heat pump

EPA License

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 30-40 per week

Base Wage: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour DOE

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance
• Test and inspect HVAC systems to identify any potential problems or malfunctions
• Repair or replace defective parts in HVAC systems
• Follow safety protocols and regulations when working with HVAC systems

Experience

• Minimum of 1 years of experience as an HVAC technician
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
• Experience as a service technician in the HVAC industry
• Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus

Skills

• Proficient in servicing and repairing various types of HVAC equipment, including air conditioning units, heat pumps, furnaces, and boilers
• Ability to operate tools and equipment used in HVAC repairs and installations
• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose issues with HVAC systems
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and explain technical information clearly
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving duties
