Position Overview

We are looking for a talented and licensed Master Plumber to enhance our dynamic team. As the senior technical expert, you will be responsible for resolving complex plumbing challenges, supervising installations and repairs, mentoring junior plumbers, and ensuring compliance with local and state codes. This is a hands-on leadership role that intertwines technical skills with superior customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair intricate plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings.
• Lead installations of plumbing systems for new constructions and renovations.
• Actively respond to urgent plumbing emergencies with professionalism.
• Perform essential services including drain cleaning, hydro-jetting, video inspections, and excavation work.
• Mentor and oversee apprentice and journeyman plumbers on-site.
• Ensure all work adheres to relevant building codes and safety regulations.
• Manage permits and coordinate necessary inspections.
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations of issues and solutions along with upfront pricing.
• Document completed work, materials used, and time taken for accurate billing.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in excellent condition.
• Collaborate with dispatch and operations to efficiently prioritize service calls.

Requirements

• Active Master Plumber license in the applicable state (required).
• A minimum of 7 years of hands-on plumbing experience, including at least 2 years at the Master Plumber level.
• Thorough understanding of plumbing codes, standards, and best practices.
• Experience with both residential and commercial plumbing.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the capability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Willingness to successfully pass a background check and drug test.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in water damage restoration.
• Familiarity with hydro-jetting equipment and sewer camera systems.
• Prior experience in a franchise or multi-location service environment.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Relevant trade certifications.
