Entry Level Test Engineer

Volt is immediately hiring an Entry Level Test Engineer in San Diego, CA.

As a Test Engineer, you will

Perform software testing of devices and systems for gas turbines, power generators, natural gas compressors, and methane emissions reduction systems. Primary deliverables include control software (ladder logic) for programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity - Position is onsite in the San Diego facility.

Schedule: Monday - Friday - 8am - 5pm

The ideal candidate will have

• Bachelors of Science in Engineering
• GPA 2.8 or higher
• Educational and/or experience-based exposure to electrical equipment design and control software for PLC applications. (preferred not required)
• Direct experience with programming PLCs and Windows-based Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems is a plus. Knowledge of Turbomachinery Electrical Loop Schematics, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and Control Systems is highly desired. (preferred not required)

Pay Rate: $ 32.00 Per Hour DOE

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties certifications, etc.
