Job Summary

The College of Law at the University of Khorfakkan invites applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, conducting impactful research, supervising students, and contributing to the academic and administrative activities of the College in line with the University's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the relevant area of Law.
• Develop and update course materials in accordance with accreditation and quality assurance standards.
• Conduct high-quality research and publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students, including research projects and dissertations.
• Participate in curriculum development and continuous program improvement.
• Contribute to academic advising, student mentoring, and community engagement initiatives.
• Serve on departmental, college, and university committees as assigned.
• Support accreditation, quality assurance, and institutional effectiveness activities.
• Engage in professional development and maintain expertise in the discipline.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Dean or the University.

Qualifications

• PhD in Law from an accredited and internationally recognized university.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching, research, and academic service.
• Strong publication record appropriate to the academic rank.
• Previous university teaching experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural academic environment.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
