Retail Store Manager Bissinger's

Overview

As a Store Manager, you will be the driving force behind our retail operations, leading a dynamic team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve sales goals in our soon-to-open Bissinger's location at Galleria Edina. Your leadership will inspire your team to excel in all aspects of store management, from inventory control to customer service.

You’ll create a vibrant shopping environment that not only meets but exceeds our customers’ expectations.

What you’ll do

• Lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees while providing comprehensive training and ongoing development
• Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, stocking, and merchandising.
• Drive sales through effective pricing strategies and promotional activities.
• Conduct employee orientation and training programs to develop a skilled workforce.
• Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems for efficient transaction processing and cash handling.
• Engage with customers to provide outstanding service and resolve any issues promptly.

Basic qualifications

• 5 years retail management experience preferably within a department store environment.
• Must be available to work nights and weekends.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Supervise shift operations and create work schedule ensuring smooth cashiering processes, customer interactions, and adherence to safety standards.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, interviewing, and employee development.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.
• Familiarity with retail math and budgeting practices.
