Working as an essential member of the Operations and Sales Center Team, the Warehouse Manager's role is to direct the day-to-day management of the Warehouse, Equipment Service, and Fleet departments of the Sales Center. Duties include making personnel decisions that pertain to areas such as hiring, compensation, promotions, discipline, and termination of team members following Company policies.

The Warehouse Manager also manages inventory and provides statistical analysis for improvement opportunities.

The employee in this position must ensure that tasks are completed accurately and promptly to maintain productivity and sustainability of the organization

• Management relies on a steady stream of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports to make informed decisions.
• Automate your inventory management process by utilizing technology such as barcodes, RFID tags or automated replenishment.
• Assess statistical information and reports for the purpose of detecting opportunities for perpetual refinement.
• Manage resources effectively, balancing financial objectives with operational requirements to ensure that the department remains within budget while achieving its targets.
• Be responsible for overseeing the adequate rotation of products within the facility.

• Oversees all the trucking activities that involve the pickup and delivery of goods.
• Organize instruction sessions to educate forklift operators and warehouse workers on proper handling and storage techniques.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• A minimum of two to three years of managerial experience is required for this position.
• Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, which comprises Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Physical Demands

• Required to sit for prolonged periods of time while carrying out office work and potentially using a computer for an extended amount of time.
• Execution of job assignments requires individuals to engage in physical activity, such as moving from one place to another, communicating verbally, and using one's hands to touch and manipulate objects.

PPE should always be clean and in good condition, and it is the responsibility of the employees to ensure proper maintenance. Damaged or outdated PPE should be replaced immediately to prevent accidents

• Wearing a hard hat on a forklift is crucial in preventing head injuries.

Work Environment

• The level of noise in the work surroundings is moderate, which is largely attributed to the operation of machinery involved in manufacturing and warehousing.
• Being able to travel to other company sites and attend out-of-town training and seminars is a must for this role.
