What you will do

The role of a Coke Florida Warehouse Supervisor involves managing the warehousing and delivery of incoming and outgoing objects.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Takes charge of 25-30 direct reports within the warehouse department
• Staff performance evaluation necessitates scrutinizing, rating, reporting, and enhancing the performance of team members
• Monitor the routine duties of the warehouse staff
• Manage Warehouse Workforce to Meet Facility Requirements
• Allocate room for stock rotation to ensure that older products are used first
• Facilitate the maintenance of adequate inventory levels and control of product shrinkage
• Monitor and control the shipping and receiving processes in accordance with company procedures
• Secure company assets
• It is important to monitor labor and OPEX expenses regularly to ensure that they are not exceeding the budget constraints

Proven time-management and organizational skills are important, as you will be expected to work to tight deadlines and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously:

• This role requires candidates to possess a high school diploma or GED in order to be considered
• To qualify for this job opening, candidates must have previously worked in a warehouse or distribution center for a minimum of two years
• The ability to manage team members and finances effectively is a necessity for this job post
• Candidates who have served as supervisors in warehouse or distribution settings for a minimum of two years are preferred by employers
• The ability to operate a manual or electric pallet lifter is a basic requirement for anyone involved in the handling and movement of products
• Commencing your job requires being certified for operating a forklift

Extra qualifications that show versatility

• Advanced Excel experience
• Knowledge of inventory control applications and SAP platform experience highly valued

The position entails demanding physical work, necessitating

• The ability to handle, relocate, and arrange articles weighing up to 50 pounds independently is necessary
• Being able to repeatedly move objects of up to 50 pounds unassisted while performing tasks such as kneeling, squatting, and reaching is necessary for this role
• Demonstrating the ability to repeatedly handle manual transportation machinery (e.g. hand trucks or pallet jacks) to move product loads, without anyone's help, for no less than 100 yards
• The proficiency to consistently clutch and tweak items that differ in size and mass necessitating exquisite motor skills and eye-hand coordination
• The ability to persist in participating in physically demanding work for extended periods of time is referred to as physical endurance
• Reading Proficiency in Varying Font Sizes
• The skill to stand continuously for a duration of 8 hours or more during the workday, up to a maximum of 10 hours
• Possessing the capacity to walk for at least 4 hours while at work
• Regularly work in an indoor environment that is both warm and moist
• The ability to use headphones to listen to instructions expressed in English
