Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst – Level 2 to support a Source-to-Pay (S2P) Transformation program. The Business Analyst will serve as a bridge between business needs and technology solutions, partnering with business stakeholders, product teams, technical teams, and suppliers to define requirements and deliver high-value S2P capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have experience in business analysis, Source-to-Pay, procurement, supply chain, Agile/Scrum environments, and requirements management. The role will also support process improvement, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), change management, stakeholder readiness, and solution adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements for Source-to-Pay processes, including sourcing, procurement, and accounts payable.
- Develop detailed user stories, epics, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze current-state processes to identify gaps, pain points, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and backlog refinement.
- Serve as the voice of the business while working closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and technical teams.
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Translate complex business needs into clear and actionable business and functional requirements.
- Support change management activities, including communications, training, and stakeholder readiness.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate that delivered solutions meet defined requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Identify and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Support project data gathering and technical projects as assigned.
- Develop and document business cases, project scope, plans, and business/functional requirements.
- Analyze and recommend solutions based on business needs and objectives.
- Work with SMEs and support teams to allocate and monitor IT resources and software licenses.
- Support Microsoft 365 application request and approval processes.
- Identify IT adoption opportunities for new software services.
- Facilitate discussions and challenge proposed technical solutions when appropriate.
- Perform cost analysis of invoice submissions to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Document and assign requests and tasks to appropriate support teams with relevant requirements and analysis.
- Assist with IT device refresh and lifecycle activities.
- Maintain asset data and generate asset tracking reports and forecasts.
- Support software licensing, compliance activities, and reporting.
- Ensure accuracy of quantities and data within IT asset management inventory databases.
- Provide status updates and communicate effectively with management, peers, customers, and project teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of Business Analysis experience, preferably within S2P, procurement, or supply chain environments.
- Experience gathering, documenting, analyzing, and validating business requirements.
- Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes and systems.
- Experience with procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or similar.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and participating in Scrum ceremonies.
- Experience creating user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, process flows, and use cases.
- Understanding of Scrum roles, artifacts, and events.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable solutions.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and process mapping tools.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting technical projects and managing day-to-day tasks, priorities, and communications.
Additional IT Asset Management / Technical Support Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in IT Asset Management-related support roles is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI.
- Experience with IT asset tracking, reporting, inventory data maintenance, software licensing, and compliance activities.
- Experience generating reports and forecasts for planning and budgeting.
- Familiarity with software and hardware request fulfillment processes.
