About the Opportunity

Join a large-scale enterprise cloud and digital transformation program focused on modernizing data engineering platforms and business applications. We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager who can lead complex, enterprise-wide initiatives involving AWS Data Engineering and modern application development.

This is a highly visible delivery leadership role requiring exceptional program management, executive communication, and cross-functional coordination skills. The ideal candidate has successfully delivered large technology transformation programs and is comfortable working with engineering leadership, architects, product owners, and executive stakeholders.

About the Program

This role supports two major enterprise initiatives running in parallel:

• Development of a next-generation AWS-native data platform built on modern Lakehouse architecture.
• Modernization of enterprise applications using .NET and Angular technologies.

The program spans multiple engineering organizations, including Data Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Application Development, QA, DevOps, Architecture, Product Management, and Business teams. Success requires a leader who can coordinate complex technical dependencies, drive execution across multiple workstreams, and deliver high-visibility strategic initiatives.

This is a delivery leadership role—not project tracking or status reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise Data Engineering and Application Modernization programs.
• Own project planning, execution, governance, budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and executive reporting.
• Drive RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) management across multiple workstreams.
• Coordinate release planning, dependency management, and delivery across multiple engineering teams.
• Manage cross-functional teams including AWS Data Engineering, .NET Development, Angular Development, QA, DevOps, and Cloud Engineering.
• Develop proactive risk mitigation strategies and lead recovery planning for critical initiatives.
• Partner closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Engineering Managers, Business Leaders, and Executive Sponsors.
• Present program status, milestones, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Coordinate resource planning, vendor coordination, and overall program governance.
• Ensure successful delivery of strategic enterprise initiatives while maintaining quality, timelines, and business objectives.

Required Experience

• 12+ years of Technical Project Management or Program Management experience in enterprise technology environments.
• Proven success delivering large-scale enterprise technology programs.
• Strong experience managing Data Engineering and Application Development initiatives.
• Experience leading multiple Agile delivery teams across concurrent technology programs.
• Strong client-facing communication and executive stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage complex cross-functional engineering organizations through enterprise-scale technology programs.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery methodologies, release management, and enterprise delivery practices.

Technical Understanding Required

Candidates should possess sufficient technical depth to confidently participate in architecture discussions and collaborate effectively with engineering teams. Hands-on development experience is not required.

• Experience supporting enterprise cloud transformation, application modernization, or data modernization initiatives.
• Demonstrated success recovering complex, high-risk, or RED enterprise programs.

Important Considerations
