Technical Project Coordinator

The Technical Project Coordinator supports the planning and implementation of IT solutions across client environments. This role coordinates project schedules, documentation, deployments, and stakeholder communication while also assisting with technical implementation and escalation support.

The position works closely with internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors to help ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

Project Coordination

• Coordinate consultant schedules, client availability, project tasks, and implementation timelines.
• Support project meetings, milestones, and communication across internal teams, clients, and vendors.
• Track project progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders.

Technical Implementation

• Configure and deploy IT infrastructure solutions based on client requirements and technical standards.
• Support system deployments, technology rollouts, infrastructure updates, and solution integrations.
• Collaborate with technical teams to help ensure successful implementation across client environments.

Escalation Support

• Troubleshoot escalated infrastructure, networking, and system issues.
• Complete assigned escalated service tickets, including onsite client support when needed.
• Assist with internal IT issues and security incidents as required.

Documentation and Training

• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, project activities, and implementation results.
• Update internal knowledge bases and prepare post-implementation documentation.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to clients and internal team members.

Client Service and Continuous Improvement

• Build and maintain positive client relationships throughout project delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes, service delivery, and technical standards.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience supporting IT infrastructure in a managed services, consulting, or similar technical environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
• Working knowledge of networking, systems administration, and cloud platforms.
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues across client environments.
• Experience supporting infrastructure deployments, technology rollouts, or similar implementations.
• Experience using ticketing systems, monitoring tools, PSA platforms, or similar systems.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple technical and project coordination responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in an IT Managed Services Provider environment preferred.
• CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or similar certifications preferred.
