Managing Director - Leveraged Finance Execution Leader

For our client, we are seeking a Managing Director - Leveraged Finance Execution Leader to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making.

You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Charlotte, NC - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation

$225,000 – $300,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Leveraged Finance - Execution platform
• Oversee execution of financial sponsor and leveraged financing transactions
• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex transactions
• Manage deal screening, credit approvals, and client onboarding
• Partner with various teams to deliver competitive financing solutions
• Work closely with Credit to ensure risk identification and mitigation
• Cultivate relationships with bankers and credit teams for portfolio risk management
• Stay updated on market developments in sponsor financing

Qualifications

• 15+ years in Leveraged Finance with knowledge of markets and trends
• Proven leadership in managing high-performing teams
• Bachelor's degree; MBA or CFA preferred
• Registered Series 7, 63, and/or 79
