Facilities Manager

Collected Hospitality is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, compliance, and appearance of our growing portfolio of restaurants and commercial properties. This position combines hands-on maintenance with vendor management, project coordination, and administrative responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is proactive, takes pride in maintaining exceptional facilities, and enjoys solving problems before they become larger issues.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all restaurant and commercial properties are maintained to company standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality.
• Conduct routine inspections of all locations and proactively identify maintenance and operational issues.
• Ensure all restaurants remain compliant with DHEC regulations and coordinate corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate and schedule repairs with vendors, including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and general building maintenance.
• Perform hands-on maintenance as needed, including painting, pressure washing, light landscaping, floor care, minor repairs, and other facility improvement projects.
• Develop, schedule, and manage preventative maintenance programs for all facilities and equipment.
• Source, negotiate, and manage subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and competitive pricing.
• Source, purchase, install, and coordinate the replacement of commercial kitchen equipment for existing restaurants and new restaurant openings.
• Assist with the planning, construction, remodeling, and opening of new restaurant locations, including coordinating contractors, equipment installation, inspections, and project punch lists.
• Maintain organized storage facilities, tools, equipment, parts, and inventory.
• Maintain maintenance records, service schedules, warranties, equipment inventories, and repair documentation.
• Respond quickly to maintenance emergencies and coordinate timely repairs to minimize operational downtime.
• Work closely with restaurant management to ensure facilities consistently reflect Collected Hospitality's standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management, restaurant maintenance, commercial property maintenance, construction management, or a related field preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, commercial kitchen equipment, and general building systems.
• Familiarity with restaurant health and safety regulations and DHEC compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across several locations.
• Comfortable performing both hands-on maintenance and administrative responsibilities.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work as required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Schedule

• Typical schedule is Monday through Friday.
• Travel between company locations is required.
• Emergency travel may be required to respond to urgent maintenance or operational issues.
• Availability to respond to occasional after-hours maintenance emergencies is expected.
