Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including specialty coffees, teas, and smoothies with precision and flair
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately
• Engage with customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and answering questions about menu items
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, and seating areas in accordance with food safety standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and give correct change using cash handling best practices
• Assist in food handling and preparation tasks to ensure quality standards are met consistently
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or food service background within a café or food industry setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of beverage service, drink preparation, and food safety protocols
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and inventory management
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light equipment or supplies, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with food handling and food safety procedures to ensure quality and hygiene standards are maintained
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours effectively
