Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of food quality and presentation
• Plan menus that align with brand standards, dietary requirements, and seasonal ingredients
• Oversee food production processes, including food handling, preparation, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and excellence
• Manage inventory control and ordering to minimize waste while maintaining sufficient stock levels for smooth operations
• Enforce food safety sanitizing procedures and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen in compliance with health regulations
• Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with attention to detail and timely execution
• Monitor shift operations, manage staffing schedules, and ensure optimal service during peak hours
• Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and restrictions
• Control costs related to food management, labor, and supplies while maximizing profitability
• Foster a positive team environment through leadership, mentorship, and effective communication

Experience

• Proven experience in fine dining environments with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management
• Demonstrated supervisory experience leading culinary teams in fast-paced settings
• Extensive banquet, catering, or large-scale event experience is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and health regulations within the food industry
• Experience managing inventory control systems and cost control measures
• Background in restaurant or hospitality management with a focus on food service operations
• Skilled in menu planning, shift management, and overseeing daily kitchen activities
• Familiarity with bartending or beverage service is a plus but not required
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
