Junior Network Analyst – Lifecycle Team
The Telecom Lifecycle Team is responsible for maintaining the health, stability, and modernization of enterprise network infrastructure. This role focuses on supporting network device lifecycle initiatives including hardware refreshes, software upgrades, patch management, validation testing, and operational support.
This position is ideal for candidates with foundational networking knowledge who are looking to develop hands-on experience within enterprise telecommunications and network operations environments. Candidates with experience in technical support, help desk, NOC operations, desktop support, or networking are encouraged to apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Support network lifecycle initiatives including hardware refreshes, software upgrades, patching activities, and maintenance events.
- Access and manage network devices using Command Line Interface (CLI) and Secure Shell (SSH) protocols.
- Execute documented procedures to perform network maintenance and upgrade activities.
- Participate in pre-change planning, execution, and post-change validation processes.
- Perform operational checks before and after network changes to ensure network stability.
- Document all completed work, configuration changes, validation results, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with Network Engineers, Telecom Engineers, and Operations teams to complete scheduled lifecycle projects.
- Assist with troubleshooting network connectivity and device-related issues during maintenance activities.
- Follow established change management and governance processes.
- Review and update technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- Assist with inventory management and lifecycle tracking of network infrastructure assets.
- Monitor implementation activities and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain adherence to security, compliance, and operational standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on network reliability and operational efficiency.
- Represent the Telecom and Network Operations organization professionally when interacting with internal stakeholders and technical teams.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning new technologies, tools, and operational processes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- One-to-two years of experience (project, educational and/or professional) in Information Technology, Networking, Telecommunications, Technical Support, Help Desk, Desktop Support, NOC Operations, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, including:
