Senior UI/UX Design Leader

In this dynamic role, you will serve as both a mentor and a contributor, working closely with software engineers, UX researchers, strategists, product managers, and other key stakeholders in an agile environment.

Focus: B2B experiences for Clients, Brokers, and Internal Associates.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of designers by assigning projects, assessing performance, conducting design reviews, and providing guidance in UX strategy and UX/UI design.
• Collaborate with product organization leaders to define and implement UX strategy and vision across various products.
• Oversee the workflow of the UX/UI team, ensuring priorities align with business value and objectives.
• Work alongside engineering, product, and business teams to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
• Develop frameworks, user flows, wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate product ideas across cross-functional teams.
• Create rapid prototypes to explore multiple design concepts and address customer and business challenges.
• Drive design solutions rooted in user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility for each project.
• Utilize service blueprints to harmonize front-stage and back-stage experiences.
• Guide all design phases from initial concept through to development.
• Analyze user feedback and iterate on designs based on insights gained.
• Influence research and product development roadmaps with strategic design insights.
• Contribute to the establishment of design guidelines to ensure consistent user experiences throughout the user journey.
• Assess project requests, communicate effort levels, and plan work responsively in a dynamic team setting.

Required Skills / Experience

• Over 10 years of proven experience in UX strategy and UX/UI design.
• A strong portfolio showcasing previous design work.
• Experience leading and managing a team of designers.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Proficient in design and wireframe tools, including Figma.
• Strong visual design capabilities.
• Experience within an agile development framework.
• Background in designing both B2C and B2B experiences.

Preferred Skills / Experience

• Knowledge and experience in the healthcare sector.
• Experience launching new products or solutions.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development.
• Expertise in creating accessibility solutions that comply with WCAG guidelines.

The anticipated hiring range for this role is $132,000 to $165,000 annually, with final compensation dependent on various factors, including experience and skills. This role is also eligible for short-term incentives based on individual and business goals.
