Call Center Customer Service Specialist

Position Summary

As a Call Center Customer Service Specialist (Switchboard Associate), you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless communication across the organization while delivering exceptional customer service to callers.

In this role, you will manage high-volume inbound and outbound calls, respond to email inquiries, accurately route calls to the appropriate departments, and provide timely assistance to customers and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong multitasking abilities, a positive attitude, and a customer-first mindset.

Job Title: Call Center Customer Service Specialist

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days in the office, 3 days remote)

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Answer and manage high-volume inbound and outbound calls in a professional and courteous manner.
• Route calls accurately to the appropriate departments and personnel.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email.
• Provide accurate information and resolve general customer questions.
• Maintain detailed and accurate call records as needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient communication and issue resolution.
• Prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform additional administrative and customer service duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous call center, switchboard, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and email applications.
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented with a positive attitude.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $20.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days in the office, 3 days working from home)
