Regional Operations Manager

Position Overview

We have partnered with a field services company searching for a Regional General Manager to lead operations across multiple Tennessee locations. This role is responsible for driving regional growth, leading sales and operations teams, and overseeing full P&L performance.

The Regional General Manager will lead all aspects of the business including sales strategy, service operations, installation/project execution, customer relationships, and team development. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on growing revenue, improving operational performance, and building scalable teams across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Drive regional revenue growth through new business and account expansion
• Lead sales strategy across project work and recurring service agreements
• Develop and mentor sales teams while remaining active in key customer relationships
• Oversee forecasting, pipeline management, and market expansion efforts
• Build long-term relationships with contractors, developers, and commercial clients

Operations & Project Execution

• Oversee installation and construction operations across multiple branches
• Manage scheduling, backlog, subcontractors, and project execution
• Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to company standards
• Monitor job costing, labor utilization, and operational efficiency

Service & Recurring Revenue

• Lead service and maintenance operations focused on customer retention and responsiveness
• Grow preventive maintenance agreements and recurring service revenue
• Improve service efficiency, quality, and first-time fix rates
• Use service operations as a long-term customer retention strategy

Financial Leadership

• Full ownership of regional P&L performance
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, profitability, and gross margin performance
• Drive accountability across labor, operational costs, and revenue targets
• Partner with executive leadership on long-term regional strategy

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead branch managers, sales leaders, and operational teams across Tennessee
• Recruit, develop, and scale teams throughout the region
• Establish accountability, performance standards, and leadership structure
• Maintain strong visibility within branches, customer sites, and field operations

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience within field services, construction, installation, or related industries
• Minimum 5 years of multi-site leadership experience with direct P&L ownership
• Proven track record driving revenue growth and leading sales organizations
• Experience overseeing both project/install operations and service teams
• Strong financial, operational, and organizational leadership abilities
• Comfortable operating in a hands-on, field-driven leadership role
• Experience with CRM and ERP systems
• Technical/security industry experience is helpful but not required
